Time machines, cave painting, and books!

What do you get when you mix the cave paintings of Lascaux, prehistoric fashion, puppets, and the time machine from H.G. Wells? You get the Summer 2014 Reading Club show, Oooga is ready to fizz, boom, R.E.A.D. (Reading, Exploring, Art & Discovery)!

The premise of the show is that a cave woman comes across a time machine and ends up in our era. She quickly adjusts, and proceeds to share and show lots with the kids. They'll enjoy a dinosaur tale, get moving with primitive dancing, and experience a bit of magic as Oooga shows how she makes a meal.

By the time she is done, the audience is chanting 'Oooga, Oooga' and ready to learn even more. Once the audience is primed, Oooga lets them know where they can learn more - at the library. In 2014, the Broward County library system was one of the first to book Oooga. Time is of the essence, so don't wait to book her or she may be gone again on another adventure with the time machine!
